Branding

So I’m attempting to consolidate my online identity lately. I’ve had myself spread very, very thin online. The funny thing is that the consolidation has lead to more sites. The difference is branding. They’re all either somehow linked to my Kevin Hayman Graphic Design brand or to Everywhen Comics. Even Bloggity here is tied visually to my portfolio site.

I think this started when I realized that there isn’t really a difference between personal and professional when it comes to selling yourself online. You ARE the product in a lot of ways so the best thing to do is to present yourself how you want to be seen across all fronts. In today’s world you can’t be two different people at work and at home. You have to be the best you possible everywhere. Maybe it’s a little taxing, but it’ll help in the long run.
